How does the 14-day free trial work?
When you create your Flora account, you automatically get 14 days of full Premium access — every feature, no limits, no credit card required. At the end of the trial you can subscribe to keep Premium or continue on Free. Nothing is deleted if you stay on Free; you just return to the standard free limits.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Premium is billed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android), and you can cancel there at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
Does household sharing cover everyone I live with?
Plant data and care history are shared across your whole household on every tier — invite as many people as you'd like, whether that's family, a partner, or roommates. Premium AI features (unlimited identifications, health checks, chats, and the rest) are different: a solo Premium subscription covers just that one account, while Household covers up to 5 people on one subscription. Pick whichever fits — solo Premium if it's mainly you, Household if several people want full access.
When does Household make sense instead of solo Premium?
Household makes sense the moment more than one person in your home wants full Premium access — a partner scanning their own plants, a roommate running their own health checks, anyone who'd otherwise hit their own Free quota. At €7.99/month or €49.99/year for up to 5 people, it pays for itself past roughly 1.6 solo subscriptions. If it's really just you, solo Premium is simpler and cheaper. Either way, plant data and care history are already shared across your whole household for free — Household only changes who gets unlimited Premium AI features.
What happens if I leave the household?
Your plants stay with the household unless you're its only member, in which case they move with you to your new household — this applies on every tier. If you were covered by someone else's Household plan, that Premium access ends the moment you leave; if you're the one paying for Household, your own Premium isn't affected by who else comes or goes.
Is Premium worth it if I only have a few plants?
It depends less on how many plants you have than on how often you use the app. A single sick plant can burn through Free's 5 identifications and 3 health checks in one bad week — and unlike a plant count, that limit doesn't care how small your collection is. Premium removes it, unlocks the full pest & disease treatment plan instead of a partial view, and adds weather-aware watering and growth tracking. If you just want basic reminders, Free covers that fine — try Premium free for 14 days and see which one you actually reach for.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your plant data, care history, health assessments, and photos remain in your account. Cancelling Premium returns you to the Free tier — nothing is deleted. If you delete your account, all data is permanently removed.
